Short, and worth two minutes. Paying for a project means you accept these terms.
We produce commercial video for your business, built from photographs and video you supply. The number of videos, their length and the delivery format are whatever your chosen package states. Anything not listed in the package is not included.
Before production starts you send us photographs of your business, and for paid projects, a continuous walkthrough video of the space. We send a guide covering what to shoot.
The finished video can only be as good as the material it is built from. If what you send is insufficient or unusable, we will tell you within one business day and the delivery clock pauses until we have what we need.
Each package includes one round of changes. A change means an adjustment within the storyboard you already approved: swapping the music, correcting text, adjusting colour, retiming a shot.
A different concept, a different location, or a rewritten story is a new project at the usual rate. We will always tell you which one your request is before we start.
Payment is made in full before production begins, directly to Momento Studios. Prices are in US dollars. Tax is added where it applies.
For monthly plans, each month is billed in advance. You can stop at the end of any paid month; we do not refund a month already started.
Because production begins immediately after your storyboard approval, work already produced is not refundable. If we cannot deliver at all, you get your money back in full.
We build from your material and check the result against your walkthrough video, but generated footage is an interpretation of your space rather than a photographic record of it.
You are responsible for reviewing the video before you publish it, and for making sure it represents your business, your property or your offer accurately. This matters most for property listings, where local advertising rules apply to you as the advertiser.
You confirm you have the right to use everything you send us, including any recognisable person appearing in it. Where a person appears, you confirm they have agreed.
We combine current visual production tools, including generative systems, with our own storyboarding, direction and editing. This is why the work costs a fraction of a traditional shoot and arrives in days rather than weeks. Ask us anything about the process and we will answer plainly.
Our liability for any project is limited to the amount you paid for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses, including lost sales or lost opportunities.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
We may update these terms. The version in force for your project is the one current on the day you paid, and it does not change mid-project.
Questions about any of this? Ask before you pay — we would rather explain than surprise you.
